I have 1 male and 1 female albino leo that are juvies and are the same size, But the female is a little fatter in her tail than the male the both have fat bellies but her tail is a little fatter. Do females usually way more than the males or store more fat? They are in the same enclosure and are fed the same things crix, mealworms, and waxworms, she might just eat waxworms I don't know she is shy and I have never seen her eat a crickets, only a meal&waxworm when I hand feed her or put them right in front of her hide. Anyone else have shy leo's? I got my female about 3 months ago and got my male about 2 months ago, but the male seems less and less shy each day?

Females do tend to be more shy than males. All leos will vary in weight and body structure. Some have thin bodies and thick tails, some will have fat bodies and thinner tails, some will be fat overall, and wome will be thin overall. It doesn't matter if it is a male or female at all:D

Actually, my females are always fatter in the body. And yes, males tend to be more outgoing.

i have a couple of males that are just HUGE in body structure and just average tails, sometimes you get leo's that won't eat certain things,so yes,it can be a little more difficult to fatten these guys up,i know of a couple leo's who won't eat anything but crickets(very annoying when you want to get them fat)to tell you the truth i find males to be the pickier eaters(not sure if this is the same with everyone else, but it's something i've observed anyways)also if you have those two juvies in the same enclosure i'd reccomend seperating them,if he breeds with her when she is to young she could become eggbound meaning almost certain death...
