I was just wondering if you guys ever loan your males out, and what do you ask in return for your males services, The guy at the local petstore wants to breed his female albinos with my male albino, but I don't know what I should ask for. all I really would want in return is maybe the pick of the litter and a female blizzard, is this to much , or not enough to ask? or should I even do it? or will this effect whether or not my male will mate with my female albino??

I think pick of the litter sounds good.

Just make sure his animal is healthy. No mites or anything. Otherwise yours might recieve something that you don't really want... :( Other than that, I say go for it. I think pick of the litter and a female blizzard is a pretty good deal, considering all you have to do is lend your male for a little while. Good luck! :)

Oh. I don't think it should affect your own breeding plans, as the male should still want to mate after mating with the other guy's leos. But I don't know for sure, mabye someone with more knowledge on leo's can help a bit more.

i think pick of the litter would be a good fee, but if you can get a blizzard too go for it.

same as mark said,if it were me pick of the litter would be fine, but if i got another leo out of it,what the heck eh?but if he doesn't want to give you the blizzard too then just go for it anyhow it's still a good deal!!!!!!as the others said, make sure the other leo's are healthy for sure

At the very least you should split the babies 50/50.

I'm with time and julie on this one. You should split the babies but if all you do is provide the male and he does the rest of the work then asking for the pick of the litter or another leo (if available) should be fine.

I would make sure the other leo had a check up and fecal from a qualified vet. Just to make sure that your leo will not bring home some unwanted friends (parasites). If it was me that's what i would do there's no way i would risk it without that checkup and i would get mine the checkup also so you can prove to the guy your males good to go.

And the question was brought up earlier. If you do decied to breed and use that same male for your female he should do the job. I have one male and 5 females and my male does the job for all of them. I'm sure he wouldn't mind a few more. LOL

me too, a 50/50 split is fair, less than that needs other compensation
