before i drive 650 miles to tampa....
are you allowed to purchase venomous if you live out of state? i'm coming from north carolina, and i'd hate to get there just to find out i can't transport my snakes back home without a permit from florida or whatever. let me know before i get too excited....thanks.

No venomouos are sold at the tampa show to my knowledge, If it has changed i would love to know about it. It is normally one of the two shows I love to attend though. very well ran and very proffesional.If you are wanting venomous from that show you would need to make prior arrangements from a vendor and you MUST HAVE a florida venomous license to posses or transport any venomous in the state no exceptions. All venomous must be in a cloth bag tied and inside a locking box marked LIVE POISONOUS REPTILE. AND LOCKED. If not you will go to jail and be fined.
hmmm...maybe i've gotten my shows mixed up...anyway, thanks for the info. note to self, never by venomous snakes while in florida....
