Is it ok to feed your snake an unthawed mouse that didn't get eaten and freeze it again and feed it your snake on a later day ?

Scott,
I've done it with our Ball Pythons, the thaw may smell the second time around, but they ate it readily.

Alot of people do it, but IMO it's not a good practice. Bacteria builds up very fast, and also the rodent breaks down more and more each time you thaw it which often causes the rodent to explode when constricted. Would you completely thaw a turkey then refreeze it then thaw it again and eat it?
