Sweet! They are so awsome man! Is that straight perilight(sp)? Do you use the plastic creat stuff with them too?
Congrats,

Straight perlite for the monitors and no, no egg crate. I bury the monitor eggs. Just the way its done.
Simon, I tell ya, the day an animal suffers because of lack of time, I will cut down my collection. As Linds has said, owning reptiles is not a right, its a privilege.

I once heard it put like this; "These animals didn't ask to live with us. We how it to them to take the best possible care of them we can. If you can't do that then don't keep them."
Everytime I hear about a keeper who hords animals and has dirty cages that statement always comes to mind and comes out of my mouth.
Don't mean to get off topic but you hit a never Jeff. I totally agree with you. When not all of my animals get the same level of care then it's time to let some go until they can all be kept at my very high standard of care.
Cheers,
Trevor
Nice work Jeff. 104 days....you almost have to forget about them or they would drive you crazy.
Good job Jeff. I'am about 40 days into my babies now!! let's hope they look as nice as those!

Jay, I've seen one that he keeps that IS ugly but with all of the sweet animals he's producing these days, he can afford the plastic surgery to correct that one's ugliness! ;)

That light one is definatley a keeper.
With my lines, anything that hatched with a light tail looks AWESOME as an adult.......I have three Gen.2's that hatched here recently that look similar to that one of yours........good thing I'm keeping them ;)
Congrats man, and keep 'em coming! (like you can stop 'em ;))

Exploding eggs is fun......but you'll come up with a lot more ways to screw stuff up, I'm sure.......I sure have :)
My latest is popping the eggs before they even make it into the cooker.....just did that again today, actually.....and kinda zinging them across the cage in the process. I think I'm loosing my diggin' touch ;)

Ha ha, yeah, flinging them across the cage probably isn't too good for them!! LOL! C'mon man, dig deep (pun intended). Look for that inner archeologist/paleontologist!!! :D
