i got it from a breeder who sold it to the pet shop. he was there talking to the manager and had the adults with him. it was nice to see that the adults were gorgeous.

Best of luck with your new addition. I have only had my IJ for a few weeks but he is settled right in and eating well. They are really nice snakes. Hope to see some pics.

Man, was that $230 Canadian or U.S.? In the states you can get IJCP's at shows for as low as $75, but you get what you pay for. High end IJCP are around $125.
Maybe IJCP cost more in Canada??
Next spring I plan on selling my offspring at $100 US.
At least you saw the parents so you have an idea of how nice it will be when it is an adult. I personally would pay more for an IJCP if I saw the parents and they were screamers.
Post some pics after you get a digicam!

That's because you guys are over-producing. You guys cannot export (Lacey Act). Well, some can, but most can't. So millions are produced in the US and they simply have no where to go but to other keepers in the US. So the price goes down. Its funny. That's why Ackies, Womas, Blackheads, etc etc are so cheap down there. No where to sell them to but home. And the competition is fierce.

Not so up here. Even though Carpets are dirt easy to breed, there just isn't enough production to fill the demand. Plus, we can sell to Europe and Asian markets. You can't. So our prices stay nice and level with what the animals are worth (almost).
