I had trouble a few days ago feeding my corns I had to cover the encloser i put it in and leave it be with the pinky. Give that a try. It worked for me

Are you talking about baby corns? Lately (last 2 yrs) I put a pinkie in with the babies the day they hatch. You'd be surprised at how many will eat before they shed. As soon as one eats, I remove him to another cage and add another pink to the one with the rest of the hatchlings, and so on ....I generally look over the eager ones very well to see if they are ones I'd like to keep.I've watched them literally crawl from the egg to the pink and eat. Minutes out of the egg!It can be helpful when you have a lot of babies and a few pinkies right then. Good luck with yours.Mark

We had the same problem feeding the milksnakes and then Jon read somewhere that a guy took the pinkies and put them in the ventilated shoe boxes, put the snakes in it and left them for an hour or so. We tried it and it worked like clockwork, that's how we feed them everytime now, it's just so much simpler than going back and forth trying to tease them into eating, or worrying about them not finding the pinkies in the substrate. They have eaten quickly every time we've done that since.

Just a thought,
Tay

Thanks Jeff, I feed in a butter container (no losing in the substrate that way) and have brianed, offered parts (ick), dipped in chicken broth (lol take your share before dipping) and such many times. Last years motley (btw that was supposed to be 10 WEEKS) was such a pain pushing the pinks into I just am hoping none cause probs this year lol. BTW the motley is one of the best eaters now (figures lol).
