How many of you here have the same sex geckos together with no problems?

All my female leopard geckos are kept together but no males together, they will fight.

You sure about that? (about males I mean)

Yes I am I have tried it before. As soon as they are active sexually, they will fight.

sometimes fighting isn't the issue. there's an issue of dominance too. some females incubated at very high temps will have real bad attitudes and may dominate a territory causing stress to others. and sometimes leos (of all sexes) can fight for food. just make sure the enclosure is big enough w/ enough hides and food

Males that are sexually mature will fight... I've housed males up to 4-5 months old together without any problems, but after that I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
Females can generally be housed together without any major problems, although you should always keep an eye out for dominance/bullying, and make sure that everyone is getting their fair share of food...
If you are going to house more than one leo together, just make sure that you have a suitably sized enclosure (a good rule of thumb is 10-15 gallons of space/gecko), and that there are several hides at each end of the tank...

I house 6 leos in a 75 gallon cage durning breeding. All of them are females. My male lives in a 20 gallon next to them. That way i can monitor who gets gravid and when. As mentioned above you do not want to house more than one male in an enclosure because they will fight.
I used to house my male with all my females but every time i turned around there were eggs popping out.LOL It was starting to show on the females. they weren't able to keep the weight on so last year i decieded to separate the male from the rest and this year went great.

To add to what everyone else has said...

If you choose to hosue multiple geckos together, they should be roughly the same size. Dominance issues may result if one is significantly larger.

I only house adult leos together...Babies I keep by themselves so I can monitor thier growth closley to make sure they are eating well & there is no aggression between them.
