It's a bit high IMO, drill some more holes.

Post a pic of the setup and I'll tell you what's causing the humidity.

Being a "Coastal" species, wouldn't they be very well off in humid environments?

I personally have found them to do much better with a low 60 humidity .. ..

Basically and occasional misting..

I also think that around 60% is better for a Coastal that is what i use to keep mine at

Coastals do better is less humid environments. Just thinkof most coastal areas you know, Breeezy, and fresh air. Now a JCP would bennefit from the higher humidity, being the jungle is heavier forested, and less air movemet.

I keep my Coastal around 60, and he has no problem shedding. I basiclly just give him a extr large tub to soak in.

Hmmm... most coasts I've seen, even by lakes, have upwards of 90% humidity, because the evaporation is kinda right there. :) But nonetheless, given that I do want to get some coastals, knowing that they do well in low humidity is good info.

Just because "coastal" is in the COMMON name, doesn't mean they ONLY inhabit coastlines!! LOL!

And don't think coastlines anyways. Think microhabitats. That's what its all about. Rainbows and Bci's live in the same geographic regions, but wold you keep them the same? NO. Why is that?

Rainbows and Bci's live in the same geographic regions,

Same regions, Not same habitat.
