I got my digital standing by. I would LOVE to be there during birth. Waiting for the next storm to come through to put her into labor.

Hey Brian,
Is that considered striped or reverse-striped? Does the pattern work both ways? Nice, too bad he passed, hopefully the neos will show it. Leads to another question, lol, is it recessive or co-dominate?

Who knows Rev, he was WC. Could be due to temp variations during develpment for all we know. Hopefully she will pop out some stripers.

lol well your no help Brian. Yes it would be nice if it is genetic. If all the babies are normals will you hold any to check to F2's?

I am sure I would keep some babies. I dont really care for morphs too much for the most part. Just hoping for a couple with neat patterns. Hopefully we don't have long to wait.
BTW, I have 2 other gravid female coppers right now too. Uggh! Free Coppers to a good (experienced & responsible) home! LOL ;)

lol, I'd relieve you of 1:2 but am looking at sand vipers ATM and the budget doesn't stretch :( . thanks for the info, and good luck
Is a storm what does it sometimes? SCR has a gravid Cotton and Timber right now. It's pouring cats and dogs here at work. Maybe we'll have a nice surprise this evening.

Im not to big on morphs as well but when it comes to copperheads and crocodilians I seem to be able to bi-pass my standards. Like the Stripe Copperhead that North Shore Reptiles had on their site, which I can't find now, The leopard like patterned copperhead on venomous reptiles and this Osage copperhead. Copperheads are very color variented and unlike ball pythons and several other species of snakes, aren't thrown out all over the place with ads saying look at this morph and look at that one. I guess the lack of interest in copperheads draws me to them.. Just rambling..

3 gravid right now (I think, have not palpated). She is the biggest and pinkest and I know the fater. The other 2 are WC out of people's yards.
