i just got back from the vet today. yesterday i noticed a small bump on his neck and pleaded whith my parents to take me, so tody we whent. it turns out the bump was just some dead skin from a bad shed, but the vet was really nervous about his weight. i have fed archibald and farkus the same, and archibald weighs a significant amount less, so he thinks it might be a parasite, no mites, but he did not rule out IBD. anyways i have seperated them, and farkus is starting to pack on the pounds (still will not feed on own, assisst fed) the vet thinks that he might not know what to do, because some imports are just force fed to save time. i am praying that archibald will start to recoop, we hsve some flagil, and some shots to do everyday, and every three days. sounds like he might make it.

oh and by the way i am doing the soaking, but will skip today because of the vet trip, and the assisst feeds, vet said that was great.

It's good that you got him to a vet and you are trying to get him healthy...but may I ask why did you buy a WC? It's been said and said again that virtually all WC bp's are problematic. Anyways, I hope they improve for you.

at the time i did not know, the way he talked about them i though they where his new htchlings, anyways i will not do buisness with him anymore i called left messages, and never returned them, i had to call him on his cell, and when i did talk to him he said he would call my back, and he would talk to me and show me how to force feed, never happened. my vet did recomend a good breeder and a friend of his, so i imagine i will be talking to him in the near future. hoping for the best

Wow, that guy sounds like a horrible breeder/dealer. That's a shame. I'd pass his name around like wildfire to get the word out that this guy is not a good person to deal with. Hope your little guys do ok.

Maybe it is just me, but isn't it a little early in the game to be force feeding? You confused me here though, you said you were feeding the two snakes the same, were you force feeding all along? If not why cant you just feed normally now?

i think it might be too early, but they were two weeks old when purchased may 10. they had their first meal with me tw0 1/2 ago. imeant the same amount of food, same size and litter. i think they might not know how to feed on their own, i think they were force fed when shiped, and do not know how to kill a mouse, they will follow it, and look like hell take it, then will just act confused and wonder off.

i was thinking ( big feat ), if mine saw another feed, do you think he might get the idea?
