I was so keen on seeing it, but after catching the trailers on TV, the hulk looked so fake... it just reminded me of the other flop movie, Godzilla.

Right on shane.
The trailers look so bad, and sooooo computerized. Movies now a days have to much "computerization" in them and look to fake.

Umm.....I liked it, but I grew up watching the Hulk! And if anyone out there still likes comics, then you'll appreciate the remake. Don't go expecting it to be he same as the comic or tv series, it's been modernized. Just enough of the original plot to keep you going, and enough new stuff to make you think. The computerized add ins aren't so bad, they kept it to a minimum unlike Spiderman.

My reptile pick:
Golden Tegu!!!!!!!!!

The problem is that most of those who are going to these movies didn't grow up in that generation, where the originals were popular. You're not the ones who saved up to buy the comics each month, so you don't appreciate the story lines. Now a days it's fast cars and guns! No appreciation for the imagination that goes into remaking the classics.

Oh heck no, Fast and Furious was probably the second worse movie I've ever seen. Sure it had pretty, shiny cars, but what is attracted to that? A seagull? It had terrible acting, a lousy script, and nothing that can be considered a story line.
If I want to see something good I go back to the Coen brothers, Stanley Kubrick and Quentin Taratino. To lesser extent, westerns and old war movies :D

I grew up watching the Hulk, which is why I was so anxious to see the movie. But after reading reviews and watching the computerized Hulk in the trailers, I will probably just rent the dvd.

Julie, do you remember the theme song of the Hulk's tv series? Up till today, it still does not make any sense to me. :)

2 Fast 2 Furious all the way!!! Who's looking at the women and plot when you've got a movie with smooth cars!!

I don't know... The wife and I went to see it.
She loved it. The part I saw after I woke up seemed pretty good, or maybe that was the popcorn
and Jack Daniels kicking in.
Actually that dude reminds me a lot of Mr. Crossman when he gets angry! The same bulging viens, and greenish colour.
Only I think Grant can actually jump higher(;o)

I think it looks sweet and I cant wait to see it. I really dont care how its all computerized and whatever. More credit to the designers, that must have been so hard to 3d render. As for story, whats better than that kind of action? Lmao at the SHrek comment, that was a great one.

I'm not a big Hulk fan but I am a Marvel fan. I'll wait for the DVD... same with DareDevil. I didn't collect any of those comics but I did collect Spiderman and X-Men for a while and those movies rocked!!! ... saw them at Silver City.

You are a comic lover and you thought the spiderman movie was actually good? They completely went away from the comic. Out of any of them I would have to say that was deffinatly the worst. I wonder what will be next? Iron man? Remake of The Fantastic Four? X factor?

I liked Spider Man, except for all those "'ooh i love you!" "no, I love you!" and "ohh you make me feel like me, and thats okay!". yeesh, you love her, she loves you, we GET it now shut up.

:) Not a romance fan, can ye tell? Although True Romance was a great movie!

Spider Man was good, then they tried to copy its style and make money with Dare Devil, that sucked... Then Xmen is Good, and then The Hulk sucked... I think I see a pattern here... Next super hero movie is bound to be good!!!!! yaay!

Yeah I know they strayed from the original storyline but I thought the general hardships of Peter Parker felt EXACTLY the same to me as if I was reading the comic. I really thought they did a fantastic job at that. For instance, substituting Gwen Stacey for Mary Jane... not a big deal because the impact was still there... with great power comes great responsibility. :D

I was prepared for little changes like that when I went into the theatre. If I wasn't, I think I would've been quite annoyed. I know someone who saw Lord of the Rings right after finishing the book, thought it would turn out on screen exactly the same, and didn't like the movie as a result.

Besides, I think changes like that are needed to bring new comic book readers to the hobby. And lord knows they need it.

Anyone know who the villan will be in the next Spidey movie? I heard it was going to be Doctor Octopus. That would be cool.

Iron man is the next scheduled movie, i think its either late this year or early next. Cant wait too see how that turns out. Oh yeah, before that is the Punisher.. As long as its better then the other punisher movie.. that one sucked.

As for Hulk, I will see it, but I'll wait for the DVD. For Daredevil, he was my favorite growing up, so I may buy that movie, having never seen it in the theatre (which surprises me.. I was so looking forward to seeing it, and never did.) Besides, even if the movie sucks, hey... Jennifer Garner in tight leather... *drooooool* :)

few things to say:
1) What the hell? In the lab, he has stuff like "starfish" and "jellyfish" written down. What kinda ******** scientist uses common names for something like that?!?
2) I also do not get the hulk theme song, it says stuff like "Isn't he glamorous" and "oh so lovable" or stuff like that. Oh yeah, totally. A glamorous lovable green giant guy. ok.

Aside from that, the movie was OK. too computerized, tho. I loved the jumping tho!
