You can't link pictures from webshots! They apear as broken images! THe only way to get the correct link is to right-click on the broken images, go to properties, copy the URL and go to that URL. Not everyone knows how to / wants to do that.
You should considered getting another server or buying a larger photo account from snake.

Hi there ZOE:

I understand what your saying but when I post with photos I always check with a preview and it shows the pictures. Also once I come back like this to reply to you or others I still see the full pictures on the post as I first started the post so why is that?

I mean I am writing you now and my post shows my Irian in 4 large photos as I first wrote this post. I know what you mean when webshots photos do not appear in forums, I had that problem at "**************" I always posted and after I saw small boxes with a red "X" in it and yes then you had to click on properties. But here it works because with the preview feature here I learned about after at least I can try and make a nice post with photos that are viewable.

If I am wrong I do not understand how you do not see it and I do, but I'll take a pic of this thread and put in my gallery and you will see what I see while writing you here, to explain better.

Yes you see them because you've already visited the URL. If I right-click on a broken image and visit that URL, i'll see the pics when i return the this page.

Webshot dosen't allow any one to post their pics on any website since over a year, you will encounter this probleme on all place you'll try to post pics from there. ANd as Zoe said, once you visite the URL, there's a cookie saved on your hard drive that allow you to see the pics after (or something like that) but those cannot be seen unless copy/paste the URL in the adress bar at least once.

I thought it looked like it was working i only use the webshots as a home page for now. I want to make a real website of mine just need the "how to' s" and so on.

Also I think the image size here in this foruwm is 500 kb, that is alot of work to shrink everything I got down and upload all over again, is there easier methods?

Or other photos sites that do let pics be seen from here?

Anything you 2 or others can tell me on this would be appreciated.

printroom.com used to allow to post pics from their website but it has been a while since I used it. Also, search for the program xsqueezeme on google and download the free trial version, it quick and easy to use to make to pics smaller without making them smaller.
