nix, snakes and mites

im just wondering, what happens when a snake drinks nix, diluted with water? because i sprayed my snake with the solution but there was a little puddle beside her and she drank it.

did she just flick her tongue in it or actually drink a puddle of it? Ive sprayed a nursing rat with it and the babies alright.... but Im not sure about a snake. How big was the snake and the puddle?

well the puddle was a fair size and the snake is only 2 feet long.
