Herping in Costa Rica

this is for anyone that has been herping in Costa Rica

we are planning our honeymoon to costa rica in the fall and I am interested to know (from experience) which areas are good snake areas.

i just want to make sure we plan it out well enough to hit the best area(s).

over the entire week we will be near:
Manuel Antonio
San Jose
Limon

.....now, Im wondering if we should try to include Monteverde in there somewhere? but I dont want to be driving around the country like a madman...its supposed to be relaxing
