That depends. Are they healthy, eating, active, breeding-not breeding, and are they something you really want? Are they regulars or another morph? Age? Genders? There's a lot to consider, but when it comes down to it, if you'd rather have leos than a corn, then yes it is worth it.:D

well they're baby normals and we seems to be in a horry to sale me.so i don't no if it's worth it.

Well, baby normals usually cost between 20 and 35 dollars. I don't know how much your corn snake is worth, but if I were you I would keep the corn snake and just buy a few leos from someone else. Many on the forums, myself included, sell them all the time. Pretty cheap too!:D If he's in a hurry to sell them then maybe they are all related, and that wouldn't be good if you want to breed them ever. Hope this helped you a little at least:D

I agree with Julie, the deal sounds a little fishy to me. Complications can arise from not having their tails. To most of us, this is no more then an inconvienence, but sometimes, (and I have seen a lot of cases), not having their tails means they've been mishandled, housed unappropriatedly, etc. And that in turn leads to the quality of the animals. I would ask the seller to provide a bill of sale (or trade) if you decide to get them, and get a statement that they are otherwise in perfect health (no worms, diseases, etc.) That way, God forbid there IS something wrong with him, you've got something he's signed. I would keep the cornsnake... it is a pet, right? Just my $00.02.

HUH? I can't really tell what you meant to say from your post.... If you need the space why not buy more cages? You will have to spend money on the little guys sooner or later if you are a good herp keeper... If you think it is in the best interest of the snake to trade it in, then go for it. Many people (myself included) would love to give this creature a PERMENANT home!

i would love to buy more tanks but money is tight thats why i'm trading for leo's it's not going to costing me anything plus i have a spiny tail iguana to that no one wants to buy :confused:

From what I have read I wouldn't take them. If you can't take care of the iguana properly (you probably can't if money is tight) consider giving it up to a reptile rescue or giving it to someone for free who will take proper care of it. You will still save money on feeding and electricity.

i wouldn't trade a corn for 3 leos. Look at it this way your wanting to save money. you have to feed leos more often than your corn i personaly spend more money to feed 1 leo then i do to feed 1 corn.

For me i wouldn't ever buy a leo with a missing tail. But then again thats me. Every single leo i have in my collection or that i have sold has had its original tail. And as they have said above in there post there are concerns about a missing tail. Plus that is where they store all of their fat and if that tail is missing and they go on a binge from eating where are they going to get their nutrients from.

There have been times where I've had dozens of leos from newly hatched to a couple months old. Even when I'm being overrun with the little guys, <i>I've never had one lose a tail!</i>
I know it can happen by accident, but three? I keep juveniles by themselves, in small groups by size, etc. It's just never happened...
Also, this individual is pressuring you. That should sound off the warning bells.

I wouldn't touch this deal with a ten foot pole, if it were me.
