These animals represent my high orange line of Yellow Ackies that I've been raising with hopes of producing a really colourful line of pure Yellow Ackies. The male (bottom) is one of my first generation babies produced here, and the two females of of another lineage aquired through a trade.
Last night, the female pictured on the top, was working diligently on a burrow and this morning I dug up 7 eggs. This is her second clutch of eggs she has produced for me, but the first clutch were no good (my fault, didn't provide suitable nesting conditions). I am pretty excited to see what their babies will look like :)
The next three months are going to be long.........
