Pinesnakes in NC Sandhills?

I have caught a couple pinesnakes before, They seem to like duck eggs for some reason. They would sit under the duck cage and come out at night and eat the eggs right out from under the ducks. There real great snakes though. I kept 1 for a few weeks and it took to prekilled mice real well, Then i set him free cause i got a ball python.
