you've got awsome corns guys!!

Vanderkm- I would say that your amel is a reverse okeetee since the white borders are so pronounced.

Here is a link to my reptiles. Sorry you have to sift through the beardies, leos, and a tarantula to see the corns. My male is an amel. and the female is a snow. and i'm sorry these pics are about 6 months old. Hopefully after my female lays her first clutch of eggs i can get some new pics.

Also i have a question for everyone keeping corns. if you go look at the pics almost everyone thinks my male amel. looks like a montley or a sunglow. I don't think this at all. and i'm wondering what other people who keep this species think.

Nice corns drewlowe. As for the question on amel color - in my opinion he has too much white to consider him a sunglow and his saddle pattern is too distinct to consider him a motley (although from what I know, the belly pattern - lack of it - is also critical in determination of motley character). I would say he is a very nice, bright amel and I bet you are looking forward to the clutch from these two.

Yes i can not wait till i have some little babies running around. I agree with you i do not think he is montley or sunglow. He's just a very pretty amel. He's mine so i have to say that. I just had no clue why so many people thought he was.

vanderkm that is a very pretty creamsicle. I love the color.

And crimsonking how can we forget about the miami corns. The silver phase is so beautiful.

How much are creamsicle corns and is it that morph which is a cross between a corn and a rat snake?

The creamsicles are a cross between a corn and a great plains ratsnake - an intergrade I believe, since they are same species. The two that I have show a slight difference in saddle pattern from our corns - their saddles tend to be smaller and more oval, not as spread out as those of our corns. This seems similar to the great plains ratsnakes I have seen. The price varies a lot on creamsicles, as does the coloration. Most people designate any corns that have great plains rat in them as creamsicles even if they do not have the orange-yellow coloration, so you will see some that look just like amel corns. These tend to be lower in price than the orange or yellow ones. I am not sure of the current price range for hatchlings, but suspect it is pretty much the same as other corn varieties.
