Thanks again for the rest of the congrats...
Zoe they will make it...just be patient.
I pipped the nastiest one of mine early just to make sure it was alive. It was and the rest pipped over the next two days. How many day along are they? If they are 55 days I would make a small 'V' shaped cut in one and see what inside. If you see color then you’re good to go. That the last thing they get. Be careful...kind of pinch a little shell together and make a slit then carefully make it larger. It won't affect them unless you cut them. Even if you rupture the membrane that surrounds the embryo and some small blood vessels they will be fine. The pic of mine at the top I cut open myself after I saw a few slice marks. The only thing you need to worry about is keeping it humid for them so they don't dry out why absorbing the rest of their yolk. It's a judgment call, but at day 55 you should be pretty safe.
They will be 58 days old early tomorrow morning... No, I don't want to cut them, I am way too scared to do that. On one of the eggs there is a little clear "window" that is very dark... Could that be colour? Or what?

Are they still white? I think it's gonna be any day now....
What about snapping a pic for us to see.
Yes they are still white... a couple have some little brown spots on them.
I'm a little busy to take a pic now - will do tomorrow.
Zoe
wow very nice pics congrats on the new little guy's.
Hey JK, what do you scratch marks look like? One of my eggs has a little straight browish line on it...

There will be actual cuts in the shell or grey lines if they are trying, but haven't gotten all the way through.
I made a little cut in one of them, but some clear goop came out so i taped up the cut... I really hope I didnt hurt it :(

Clear goop is good...could you see anything? Your not going to hurt it this far along in the process. If it were dead there would be no excess moisture inside the eggs. That's the CHORION: the outer sac that surrounds the egg with a protective membrane. The AMNION: Internal protective sac holds the embryo. When you cut the egg you ruptured the outer layer which is no problem. If you cut a larger hole you will see what I am talking about.
JK: I have pics of both adults and babies althoguh i have no more room on the site! ..
