I know we've discussed this before but I need a quick refresher. I've got 4 eggs going in the incubator now. All seem to have gotten firmer. One and only one keeps getting mold in the same spot but this doesn't happen to the others. So far I've just been wiping it off. If it keeps coming back should I do the bleach thing? If so what should the bleach concentration be, what temp should it be at, how long to I leave it on before rinsing etc. Or should I just keep wiping it off? Does it mean the egg is bad? It was dented when it was first laid but has since firmed up. The humidity in the inc. is about 75%.
Thanks in advance.

might put a little anti-fungal foot powder on a q-tip and use it to wipe the mold off

i think this happens when a drop of water falls on the egg in the same place. But if that is not possible just keep wiping it off and keep it far away from the other eggs.

Hmm it could be water dripping, I'm going to separate the moldy one tonight and separate all into their own delicups this weekend. I don't have any foot powder but someone on another site said to try listerine. They also said it means the egg is bad but it's not getting moldy all over and it's not happening to the other egg from the same clutch. So far it hasn't gotten smelly or anything so it very well could be from water dripping, I hadn't thought of that. I stopped misting everyday as long as the humidity is staying at the same level and the mold doesn't seem to come back as quickly so I'm hoping it's just that everything is too moist.
