Finally went lookin when its light out.

For only the second time this year i have gone out looking for reptiles, when its light out. Today i found the usuall species/ssp. of garters, and TONS of Wall lizards. Here are some bad pictures of nice animals.

Heres a baby probably hatched in early august last year. It looked like a male to me, but still probably a little young.

I'll try and get some nice pics of some big males, to show how green they can be. Really beautifull animal.

neat i live in n. va and i usually find alot of garters, just last week i caught a 4 foot banded water snake, and the week before i caught a 25lb snapper! do you go herpin' alot?

Almost everyday. I have never caught a snapper, but i am told they were introduced here. What type was the one you caught?

im not exactly sure, but it wasn't an alligator. i go everyday too, weather or parent permitting

Well, my mom was at a friends today, and they toured her new garden... They saw 8 wall lizards, and 3 alli's...
Pretty neat!
