My ball 1.5 year old ball python isn't the greatest shedder. The last 2 sheds we really soaked her a lot in the sink hoping to help her along. This very last shed however, for the very first time ever, she soaked in her water bowl- and all week long up until the day she shed! Granted she retained her eye caps, but she had the nicest perfect body shed ever. Why do you think she decided to lay in her water bowl this time? Do you think she remembered us soaking her in the sink and that she shed more easily? Learned behavior? Or did she just decide to do it on her own? I'm just curious what finally got her to do this behavior before her last shed. (Note: since the day she shed, she has not crawled back into her bowl!) What are your thoughts on this?

Maybe she felt a little to dry. Keep the cage a little more moist.
