My male ATB is 13 months old now. I know that i should be feeding him mice at this age. But what size? adult mice or smaller? And how often?

I feed my 13 mo hortulanus rat fluffs on the larger size.

Every so often he gets 2 and I'll be upping that next year to 2 more often than not.

I would recommend feeding small adult mice. Can you show me a picture though? All snakes grow at different rates depending on what the keeper is feeding them. I would recommend anything that would fit the diameter of your boa, should leave a slight bulge, but nothing too noticeable. If you feel your boa is too small in diameter to take on bigger pray, you can always feed smaller mouse fuzzies but in a larger quantity. Also, do you feed live or frozen thawed? It is safer to feed smaller live prey, but you can feed bigger frozen thawed prey because it is safer for the snake. If you have any questions feel free to contact me further.

Thank you for your replies. I feed live. I take care that my snake is safe
