This is my Senegal parrot, George. He's going to be ten years old in October. He's my best friend. Figured you guys could use a break from the scales and look at some feathers.

Oh he is cute. I've never had a bird. Always cats and I don't trust them.

Nice little Senegal! There's a pair at the shelter I would be tempted by if I didn't already have too many small birds.

They have a very unique kind of personality and are very adorable.

I saw that bird and immediately thought sun conure.

( Folks....this is why you tell your children not to spend 40years drinking heavily!)

In my defense, they are kinda the same size...and they look a little similar in black and white!

Oh...the heck with it....I'M AN IDIOT!

Anyway, have fun with your new buddy. I think the reason I thought of sun conure is my next door neighbor had one land on his shoulder while standing in his backyard. He had it for a few years.

To clarify, not his, just showed up out of the blue.

He's not really my new buddy I adopted him in Feb of 2008.
