Hello all,
I recently got my Tarahumara Mountain Boa (18 mo old) into a new Animal Plastics enclosure (April 7th) and since I've put him in there I have not noticed and urine or urate from my boa which is something I typically see weekly. I understand he could just be getting acclimated to his new home but hoping that is it and not something health related. He has, however, eaten twice and used his warm hide for about 48-72 hours (typical) after each feed since he started living in his new home.
I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary about his behavior. He looks healthy, shiny scales, growing and gaining weight at steady rate, flicks tongue and firm but not panicked grip on you when you take him out so I don't think he is stressed or nervous. Seems very relaxed at all times, hardly ever hisses at me anymore. Last time was 3 1/2 months ago.
Below are a few photos of him and his enclosure.

Didn't I read somewhere in the forum that they can wait for a bit before letting "it" all out?
If I find it, I'll post it.

Do you feel any hard lumps near his vent? Is he bloated at all? Temps, humidity, etc? It's not abnormal for a desert species to hold it for a while, but please reiterate your husbandry (i'm sure you shared it before) to ensure that nothing is wrong.

No hard lumps, does not seem bloated. Temps and humidity remain stable...cool side 74-76 depending on where he is, warm side 78-84 outside of his hide in various areas, 85-89 inside of his hide. Humidity sits around 60-65%, sometimes the warm side gets down to 50-55% when the RHP is on for a bit but stays right around 60-65% for most part.
UTH provides belly heat around 85-89, RHP really just turns on every once in a while to keep cool side at 74-75. Works out really nicely, RHP might turn on at 10-20% 2 or 3 times a day for maybe 5-10 minutes....maybe a little stronger and longer on cooler nights but the warm side never gets over 90 and the cool side never gets below 74.

Looks and sounds to be within normal ranges. Why don't you consider a water bowl big enough for him to climb into and out of on occaision? That way you would increase his fluid load and output. Amazing looking animal and enclosure btw. Good luck!
That all sounds fine. Just a matter of a desert species doing what it has evolved to do. :)

The water bowl in there currently is plenty large enough to allow him to climb in and out. Thanks - I think he is beautiful too! Brings something new every time he sheds too!

Of course I wake up this morning to a poo, pee and a white urate...did see a few pieces that were a more yellow look, hopefully it's nothing to worry about....which I am sure it isn't as I worried about him not peeing and dropping urate and here I am this morning :)

Yellow is quite a normal colour :)

Okay cool - I didn't know if is white all you ever wanted to see. My guy's has been mostly white since I got him about a year ago. There probably has been times where it has been slightly yellow but this time it was very apparent probably because of the white LEDs. They are so darn bright, never have them on when he is in there. Just one of the colors dimmed down.

Just let him soak for a while as I had to clean his cage and he seemed to love it. Did not want to come out!
Curious...is it normal for them to dip their head under water, he would only do it breifly and it always seemed to be with purpose and he would always pull it up a few seconds later. Was awesome him to see him swim around like he did.
Here is a shot from after I dried him off and calmed him down some plus a few other pics from today.
