Hey y'all! I'm looking at adding another snake to my collection. There are three that I am trying to choose between...two boas and one BP. First up is this little beauty who is currently sitting pretty with Tracy Barker at VPI. She is a VPI T+ Pink Panther.
The second one was listed on fauna classifieds.
2015 Double Dose RC pastel female. Produced by Richard Ceniceros from RC pastel motley X RC pastel hypo jungle pairing.
The third one is actually a Ball Python. This particular snake was listed on Fauna Classifieds as well and despite not being a boa really caught my eye. I've never seen anything like it. Female Pastel Mojave Bee weighing in at 790 grams.
I may be interested in breeding the female in the future but being new to it would love other people's input. Thanks!

I suggest you go with the one you really like the best. All of the boas and the python look amazing. Remember with the Bee (spider gene), you will have to consider the "wobble" as part of her presentation.

Thanks :)
I really love them all...that's the problem!
I actually find the wobble endearing. I have a friend who has a Killer Queen Bee for sale and hers is pretty extreme to be honest. That and she is $250 more than this one.

The first one. I like the ball too of course lol. I actually looked at that second boa but I don't have the funds at the moment. You should check out Diem Marie. She has a white phase redrum vpi t+ Female that I would love to own if I had the money to burn.

Do you have a link to that specific boa? Or a picture? I'm trying to sift through her Facebook photos but I'm not finding it.
Nvm...I found her :)
What a beauty! She has some good looking boas!

If you were looking to breed whatever your new addition will be maybe think about what you want to produce and decide on what to get from there...I certainly haven't had a plan for my boa additions. I would have to get a few more to have any semblance of a breeding plan hahaha

If I do breed my focus wouldn't be on a particular morph. More likely I would selectively breed for color. I am always drawn to snakes with an unusual amount of color be it something really saturated or a pastel. I'm also really interested in two less common Boas. The Peruvian Longtails (BCL) due to their intriguing color change as they age as well as the beautiful blue iridescence. I also really enjoy Hogg Island Boas (BCI) both for their temperament and their color changing ability.
I'd go for the t+ pink panther. There's guaranteed to be some nice colour there. That's a nice super clean pastel, but it's debatable as to how much pink or red will develop and it could also gain some melanin spots as well as brown out as it ages. I'm not a ball guy whatsoever either, so that's why I would get the t+ if it were my choice. :)

The VPI T+ PP is my personal favorite right now. Just waiting to hear back from Tracy about a few things. Hopefully she will be coming home soon!
