Elemental Exotic's first lockup of the season!

And it's a very exciting one! Niska and Saffron, our Tricolor hognose were paired for the first time as the first pairing of the season. They locked immediately and stayed locked for over 15 hours! :shocked:

So hopefully we'll get lots of fertile eggs!

15 hours? Don't know much about breeding, but I'm impressed. Stunning snakes. Congrats and looking forward to the eggs and hatchlings to come.

These are actually Lystrophis pulcher, completely different species from the Heterodon hognose species. Kind of hard to find in the States, we had to import Saffron from the Czech Republic.
