Being offered what I think is a good deal on some corns but they are hatchlings and I'm not a pro. (Also supposed to be abstaining...uhg, I suck at this).

Being offered is my pick of female tesseras (normals), male or female anery, male or female ghost, and male or female okeetee.

I have no breeding plans in mind, but I do like to be informed, and since I'm not knowledgable about corns, would like someone to chat with before I make my decision.

My biggest question however is this....if I get a male anery and a female okeetee and tessera, what would possible combos be? Would anery and tessera go together to give me anery tesseras? How would an okeetee fit into any of that?

I have not made my decision yet, but would really appreciate some feedback if possible.

Here is great calculator where you can get your answers: Corn Snake Genetics Calculator (http://www.reptilecalculator.com/corn-snake-morph-calculator/)

Keep in mind that Okeetee are the same as normal, just "line breed" so in calc you need to type them as normals.

Thanks, but I don't purchase apps.

It's good to know that about okeetees though.

Do youbhave to have 2 tesseras to make tesseras? Or is it like the banana gene in BPs that produce bananas no matter what it's bred to?

You don't have to purchase any app, the calculator works without paying a penny? Tried it, works quite well! Tessera is dominant, Anery is recessive and Okeetee is a normal locality (breeding it to non Okeetee would give no Okeetee's). To get Anery Tesseras you would have to breed at least twice unless the tessera is het Anery.

Thanks! And that is weird about the app....it tells me to purchas it for $3.99... I'll have another look at it again.

Thanks for that info though!

Edit: Just looked again and it jeeps taking me to the google play store and telling me to purchase it x.x

Okay, I added it, and that's what you'll get:

Tessera x Anery:
50% Tessera het. Anery
50% Normal het. Anery

Tessera x Okeetee (normal):
50% Tesssera
50% Normal

Okeetee x Anery:
100% Normal het. Anery

Mink are you looking on your phone? It works just fine and free for me on a computer. I was thinking if you're on your mobile it may default to a paid page.
