Moving Corn Snake to Germany

I´m probably going to be moving to Germany within the next two years and the only thing holding me back from confirming that decision is my pet snake.

Does anyone know anything snakes importing them to Germany?

I´ve been doing a lot of research with this, but haven´t really found anything helpful, nothing about importing snakes.

I was wondering if anyone might know more and could help me out.

Huh unfortunately I can't help you... but maybe ask on German snake group on facebook? There is a few of them, and someone who is actually living there might be helpful.

Well, not sure about Germany specifically but I know the UK allows reptiles and doesn't require quarintine. Dogs, cats, and horses on the other hand have like a 6 month long quarintine.... o.o

I believe Germany requires vet clearance and QT. I am not 100% sure. Best bet is to contact their wildlife department.

A vet clearance shouldn't be hard to get, i just don't know what kind of papers i'll need, i'll look at their website and see what i can find, thanks for the help

Let me help you. I´m german and looked for the import regulations.
