New boa. 7 months old got here for about amonth. Humidity keept at around 60-70% water bowl changed 2x per day. Never saw her drink now today i saw her having alot of wrinkles when she coils up. No milky eyes. So im confused . Last shed was 24.2.15. thats when she finnished sheding. She gets a mouse every 7 days.
Might this be a shed or dehydration? Since i never saw her drink from the bowl... i just used a spray bottle and she did drink drops from herself. Weird. She did not get milk eyes any of the last cupple of days. Yesterday she was okely dokely now she is wrinkled 0o
Oh ps heating only the ground at a constant 30 degrees celsius. She has a warm and a colder spot on the ground plus a branch to move away.

Snakes get most of their hydration needs from their prey items. If the husbandry is correy with humidity levels/heat levels then you'll be fine.
I never see my snakes take a drink for the most part. They normally don't need to. However, it's good to have a water bowl available to them in case they decide too.
Besides, the snake may drink when you aren't around.
I agree with the post above. Snakes do get most of their hydration from their prey, keep in mind how much water is in the human body, its the same for animals as well... a lot! I do keep a bowl of water just in case tho. My old BCI I never saw drink but he was a soaker. To cool off he would submerse himself except his head in his water bowl. I always thought he had mites, made me quite nervous lol but it was just the way he liked to be on the cool end of his enclosure. But I never saw him drink. My current BCC does drink out of the bowl every now and then. Not very often, but I do catch him. It just sounds like your boa doesn't need to drink or she's a closet drinker. Keep the water bowl in there just in case. If you are giving her regular feedings and the temp and humidity are where you say then she may not need to drink. Wrinkles in the skin come and go depending on the position snakes are laying for a certain amount of time. My boy has wrinkles all the time, it's normal. The skin folds over and dents the scales on occasion. It comes and goes. :)

I agree with Aaron, though a few species do differ. Rainbows, for example, will drink frequently and long, especially just after a meal. But they are the exception....
