I am looking at bredli x jag specimen born at the end of july but its coloration seems very drab. If I search of bredlixjag, they are very colorful with yellow, black, and light yellow coloration. Do all bredlixjag color up to what I have just described? I would want to post photo of the one that I'm looking at but not sure if I am allowed to take someone else's photo.

That is still a baby, it takes quite a while for carpets to colour up. Also the picture may have been taken while it was in shed. Post the pic.

Do you know the snakes info? What went into it? What cross it is will make a big difference on its appearance. The yellowest ones seem to be bredli/jungle/diamond or bredli/jungle crosses. If this is a bredli/coastal cross, it may not be as yellow.

It is a beautiful snake though. It does look like it will more on the redder side rather than neon yellow. But it is hard to tell at this age.

It is apparently bredli x jag.

So possibly bredli x coastal jag. It will likely not get as yellow as some of the bredli jungle jag pictures you may have seen.

What do yellow side bredli x jag BABY look like? Also, what does -more red- bredli jag look like? Just shooting out questions there hehe

I would just google image search bredli x coastal jag and bredli jungle jag etc.

re is a picture of a female I used to own. She definitely got brighter as she got older, she started off quite dark. I would love to see how shd looks now. Infact I would love to still own her, but I decided to let all of my jag/jag crosses go.

Dilema she was gorgeous! As others have said carpets tend to brighten with age.

Here she is about a year before. Very similar colouring to the one you posted. ;)

you should have kept that guy mate it's a good looking carpet

to the op
i have seen plenty Bredl Jags that look like yours as hatchlings...

not all bredl Jags are high clean yellow, but most turn out to be really good looking adults, whether they are yellow or not

i love what Bredl genetic's bring in Carpet breeding projects

there's still plenty time for the light colours on yours to turn yellow, you will just have to wait and see as he colours up

cheers shaun
