Anyone have any unique, humorous, awesome names for a snake?

I have an Albino Hognose named Hannibal and a female Green Phase Hognose named Clarice, after the main characters in the movie "Silence of the Lambs" ( Hannibal definitely lives up to his name, lol).

Also have a younger male albino hoggie named Mork, and a normal female Hoggie named Mindy, after the old tv show "Mork and Mindy"......

Just a few examples of my naming strategies:)

I think it would help to know what kind of snake as that can often add meaning to the name.

I usually name after temperments.

I have a very docile rosy boa who has never even attempted to bite a person. She's very calm, cautious, and doesn't mind snuggling. I trust her 100%. Her name is Daisy.

Then there's Pepper. She's an albino rosy boa with an attitude. She is moody, sensitive to environmental changes, and a bit unpredictable. She is easy to piss off, does not bluff at all, and packs a surprisingly strong bite for a little snake. Her appetite is endless and she often confuses me with prey. She's not always bad though. On a few occassions I've had her happily around my neck, but due to her moodiness I don't let visitors hold her unless they are experience with snakes.

Copper, also a rosy, was named for his copper colored stripes (vs the typical rosy stripes of other coastals). He's an easy going guy.

My normal looking KSB is a curious and classy little lady, so I named her Emerald or Ema for short.

People's tendency to refer to snakes as "noodles" was something I adopted, and thus the nickname for the nameless snake...became the name. Oops? It's not unique, as I've met other snakes named Noodle since, but it amuses me anyway.

Dart is so named because that is...what he does. Usually away from me, because I am a terrifying, snake eating monster as far as he is concerned. Less funny, but more appropriate.

I'm thinking I might go with an earth theme. Something like Richter. Or even a funny one like Porkchop :P

I feel like there are an appalling amount of snakes named Porkchop. Why is that? LOL

I LOVE names. I could go on a big rambly gushing rant about this :D I like to pick a sound or a theme, although it's hard to stick with it sometimes.

My snakes are named Riddle, Finch, and Jinx, which all have an I sound. However, I just got a new baby ball python and I named him Babou, after the ocelot on Archer. His markings remind me of an ocelot, although his personality totally doesn't match that sassy little creature :> He's more of a hider. But the name popped into my head when I got him and now it's stuck!

I feel like just trying on different things until you find something that sticks is the way to go!

I rather like sexy, dark, ominous names. I'm getting a MBK and thinking of the name Voodoo lol

Also on the name list, Necora, Samira, Lolah, and a few others. If I was getting a male, I was thinking of Toothless (after that freaking adorable dragon), Vader, ect.

I'll admit that I kind of like that 'scary' side of most snakes even though to me they are as adorable as puppies, kittens, and foals!

If/when I get a hognose or 2, I wqs thinking of giving them names after rattle snakes since to me they look like small rattlers lol. Timber is my favorite for that so far.

However, I generally don't finalize a name until I have the animal in hand. ^_^

I was going to name my snake 'Mad Max', but he calmed down pretty quickly and I named him Carl instead. I also considered naming him 'Slim'.

My girl's name is Eir, after the Viking goddess/Valkyrie of the same name. I had a few theme ideas in mind for my snake and gods/goddesses was one of them. I also really love vowels in names. Eir is the goddess of healing, think old world ER doctor, she was a valkyrie who helped those on the battlefield and had a lot to do with surgery. I chose to get Eir at the time I did because I was looking at a lot of dental work coming up and I wanted something to keep my mind off of it, I needed something to help me heal. Plus, when cleaning up her area-to-be the night before, I ran across a fabric banner a friend had given me that happened to have the Japanese word for "healing" across the front. With all of those things together, when my friend linked me to the name Eir, I couldn't resist.
My family also wanted something easy to say unlike my betta boys Kirei and Kirakira.

I like to choose ironic names for the few I name.

I have a little female sugar glider with the fluffiest little face so I named it Larry lol, like the manliest name.

My critters are named after Gods and warriors because that's what we immortals do :)

Mine is named after a legendary aztec weapon (Xiuhcoatl, the fire serpent). But since my gf can't pronounce it, we reduced the name to the minimum :'D

I like the names to have meaning to me, no one else really needs to get them anyway XP!

I have my Boa names Kaa, after the snake in the jungle book.

My Corn snake was named by my GF and is the only random name (Corn Shake)

My Hognose has the name given to the serpent that tempted Adam and Eve, Crowley. But we call him Mr. Crowley.
