Do your sand boas ever go on little adventures when the lights are out? I find that my baby KSB Ema does once in a while. Her terrarium is very dry so I have a humid hide for her during shed. I've noticed when the lights are she sometimes climbs on top of the hide (which is rather high for her). I've also left her feeding deli cup in their over night to later find long after she has eaten and left the cup she has climbed back inside to check out the paper towel or hanging off the side.
Then when I turn on the lights, she freezes as if to say, "You see nothing," and she goes back underground, never to be seen again, lol.
