Hello, I'm asking for help with my snake from January. I discuss hers condition with local reptile breeders, my vet and on many snake forums but still wondering whats wrong. In January my snake began sleep with open mouth, it looks terrible, she's like a monster. But she has no problem with breathing, eating, sleeping or any other snake business.

For now I'm trying to cure her with Vitamin C and 26-29°C Temperature.

Photo do more than words:

I'm looking forward for any advice or potencionally type of illness.

(We exclude pneumonia, because she is quite ok with breathing and hers mouth is clear)

Welcome to the forum. It would probably help if you could post pics of your snake. Best wishes.

I couldn't post a pic because of pending approval of my new account here, so I deleted pic. If I use "Insert Image" or "Insert Link" I get Post denied. New posts are limited by number of URLs it may contain and checked if it doesn't contain forbidden words.

Not sure what would cause that issue dark. I would get her to a vet.

It says in the original post that DarkLover has spoken to his/her vet about this.

Sorry I don't know what's causing it either, but maybe try asking a different vet and get a second opinion since you current one doesn't have any answers for you? Hopefully others that have more experience with these types of things will see your post. Poor little guy, I hope it's nothing serious.

I know you said that you've spoken to your vet but have you actually got her examined? Maybe some blood work and other testing for diagnostics?
