hog island help!!

Ok so i read hog islands don't need a uv light but im using a heat pad when i get my boa in a few months not a basking bulb so im not producing any light like the bulb would so how would i have the cage not dark and depressing

Any non heat emitting light source. Florescent lights, led lights, etc. I use rope lights on some of my enclosures. Gotta get the good ones though. Cheap ones don't give off much light.

LED Light strips work really well. You can also change the colours of the lights and they don;t give off any heat. I use then in my enclosure

I use an LED light bar for my hog island boa, the light is actually designed for lighting aquariums but works well.
