Just after a bit of advice, just got a cb13 may male and female columbia boas, and is it normal for the male to seem super aggresive at 1st, kept pythons nd corn snakes, held adult boas but never kept one especially one so young, his sister bit me at 1st but then calmed down, I only handled them when putting them in there tubs, and the male has non stop been striking at the edge of the tub and he strikes if you move near him full stop, basically is this normal? (He hasn't been handled much by the breeder befor hand and his was fed breeder. Rack managment style to keep him the right size and seems hungry but I have been told you should wait a week before feeding, but seems very alert and healthy really just wanna know what I'm in for lol

Welcome and best wishes. I usually feed my new critters 2-3 days after getting them. Usually the breeder hasn't fed them for a while before shipping them out so they're often hungry on arrival. He's probably just acclimating to his new environment and being a little defensive. Don't handle him until you get him to take a couple of meals and more than likely he'll start to settle down. Good fortune.

Completely normal. My cay caulker male was the same way. Starting from day one, hissed at any movement, vibration of footsteps...etc and struck at everything. I thought he was never going to calm down. Now he is puppy dog tame. Hasn't hissed or struck at me for almost a year now(I got him about a year ago).
I didn't handle him much though, he just calmed down through getting used to his new environment. I will only handle him during maintenance(when i need to take him out so that I can replace his sheets). I am of the philosophy that you don't need to handle your snakes in order to "tame" them. Just be gentle with them whatever you do...whether it's cleaning, feeding..etc.
