I saw this article posted on facebook today. It's well thought out and even though it's specific to hurricanes I feel it covers all weather emergencies and worth sharing with others. If this is the wrong forum mods please post it in the proper one. Thank you

Very well thought out but what if you have a rather large collection, not only that but it says you should have a carrier that you can keep the animal in for several days if need be, I don't know of any carriers for snakes that you can carry around for several days and keep them warm and what if you have 2 or 3 16 plus foot retics, what are you supposed to keep something like that in?

I'm not really sure but it does make you think of the "what ifs" in the event of a weather emergency in your area. So what would you do with large constrictors in a weather emergency? How would you keep them secure and warm?

I don't have to worry about that where I live, no hurricanes, never really any tornado's, no earthquakes, I'm pretty much set where I am

You're very fortunate. No flooding or wildfires either? I think it's always wise to have a plan in place for the unexpected.

No real flooding, wild fires are possible but haven't been any in the area I'm in in a long time from what I know
The worst I have here is winter storms, sometimes flooding but never terribly bad. Great article :)
