To be honest, I don't even know what high yellow means. Some people use it to say that the color is very "yellow" or that the yellow to black ratio is high.


The jungle on top is getting there, I'm very suprised to see how much she's brightened up since I got her. The second one I think has another year to go or so. She's been brightening up very slowly.

Love the Slotke jungle :D The stripe is my favorite, Bindi has them too on her sides. Gorgeous animals.
How big is that jungle? I feel like Bindi is a slow grower, I'm still working on getting her on to rats. and is she/he nippy?

That pairing has thrown out some interesting babies, the stripes being one of the nice features. She's about 2 feet long and eating hopper mice/rat fuzzies weekly to bi-weekly right now.

She's still only a year old so she can get nervous inside the enclosure. Just last week I was taking her out to clean her enclosure and she struck at me like I owed her money haha. But once she's taken out she'll calm down nicely.

Okay, thanks. :D Bindi is fine taking her out, but when I take her out and my dad walks in, she just stares at him. She tagged his wrist once, but when he's actually holding her she's totally chilled out.

Getting her back in is the worst. She tries to come back up your arm, then bites you when you try to get her in with your other hand. Feisty, I must say. :)

I feed Bindi about the same, hoppers are leaving very little belly bumps now though. Going to try scenting rats with mice next week. I didn't mean to hijack your thread, lol, I really love your carpets. They're all beautiful. :)

That's what makes jungle carpets fun though! But it's not so fun when they're all grown...then it becomes a bit scary haha.
