So, I got back from the Toronto expo with a new addition!
She's a female, she's an Okeetee, and she's gorgeous!
Snapped these before putting her in her new enclosure.

Question - how do I make sure she doesn't escape through the vent holes in the tub? Is there a rule of thumb? They are smaller than the width of her head.

Beautiful snake and fantastic photos, especially the tongue shot. If she can't get her head through the ventilation holes, you should be okay. Watch out for her climbing and finding a way out by the handle though. I have a couple of baby Hondurans in tubs and they love to curl up along the ridge by the handle. The tubs have locking handles, but I'm still super careful to make sure they're closed tightly. Lovely snake. Thanks for sharing.

Pretty sure she won't escape if the holes are smaller then her head . I would recommend getting some kind of lid, if the tub isn't in a rack. :D

Thanks everyone. I think she's adorable. Now I have to wait impatiently before I get to hold her again, lol. Can't wait till she downs her first meal! How in the world do you feed a snake that's always hiding underneath the bedding anyway? This should be fun... :P

Very nice looking snake, and feeding while its hiding? Put in the food and let her sniff it out. :)

She's so tiny it's adorable, but it makes her hard to finds in her big tub, lol.
I suppose I will wait a couple days for her to settle in before attempting a feeding.
PS: Bought flexwatt at the expo, first time I've ever seen it. Loving it so far!

Oh, did not mention. She is a Jasper County Okeetee, and she is about a year old.
