So most of you guys know my carpet wasn't eating very well. She was skinny enough to be able to see the bumps on her body are where her organs are. My dad too mer to the vet today and i asked him if they said anything and he just said On my way home to talk to you about the options. She is pretty sick. So I'm not looking forward to the options. :/ ill keep you guys updated.

Alright. So she had 3 cancerous tumors. Which was causing her not to eat. So the only option is to let her wither away or put her down so were going to the vet later for them to put her down. Merry Christmas to me. She was such a good girl. I wish i could had her longer, but I bonded with her so much. RIP Kera. </3

At this point it's good that you ended her misery. Wouldn't want to drag out her pain.

Sorry for your loss, you did what you could.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I had a beautiful female ETB that I lost to advanced stomach cancer a few years back. We thought it was an intestinal blockage and the vet went in for surgery, but saw the damage and we opted to euthanize her on the table so she wouldn't hurt anymore. It sucks to lose an animal; it never gets easier, no matter how many you keep, but you did the right thing. It was a merciful, peaceful passing for her and she is no longer hurting.

So sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is never fun.

A few years ago, I had to make the same decision for my Bearded Dragon, Auzzie. I couldn't watch her suffer any longer and had her put down on Christmas Eve. It sucks.

You're not alone, I think everyone that gets a pet put down feels they let it suffer too long beforehand. It's just a really hard thing to do, and there's always the thought that 'maybe she will get better' even when you know it's not possible. If you didn't wait as long as you did, you'd be kicking yourself for 'not giving her a chance'.
You made the right choice.

Thanks so much. Its sad seeing her giant empty enclosure just sitting next to my bed:( I don't understand how I bonded to her so fast, seeing as I only had her since the beginning of July:(
