The old boy in the sun... he's 4 years old now. Still holding some decent colour on him.

I was going to ask the same question. I'm a bit ignorant. I thought the pattern said spotted but the head shape said carpet.

That why I asked, I have a young Spotted and the pattern is somewhat similar. He is gorgeous.

I am jealous of the fact that your weather is nice enough to take your snake outside while everything is covered in snow here. Well, the rain is turning it to muck at the moment.

Really nice pictures! You have a pretty snake there.

I have a retirement plan that involves no long pants or socks for 5 yrs. Paid my snow dues so to speak. Can't wait to celebrate christmas with my toes in the sand ;)

Nice jungle. I can't wait to see them in the wild

We have the exact same retirement plan, I've been saying this for years. But my plan has a red solo cup and a little paper umbrella in it.

I say the same thing about Canada... would love to see a moose. Funny name for a funny looking creature.... plus what guy doesn't want to see wild beavers.

I could easily show you both. I take some of the Toyota visitors from Japan out to find some of our wildlife. Fishing is always a hit. They are always blown away by the size of Canada. My wife and I are planning to sail for our first five years retired. We will be visiting Australia as part of that trip.

Only seen a moose twice in my life. One was way up north and the other was in Alberta (western Canada)

They aren't common where I am. I see a lot of deer, foxes, rabbits and coyotes though! Beavers and muskrat are a little less common to catch a glimpse of.

we have alot of elk where we live...they are a nuisance...a friend of mine hit one with his Harley Davidson...and lived...broke almost every bone in his body, though...the darn things are so bad around here that sometimes the elementary school kids cannot go outside to the playground because its full of elk! LOL

Lol that sounds fun! I was fortunate enough to watch the elk start migrating in Montana one year. Just as you described. Great to see.

Oh please. All moose are is a giant road hazard. Hit one of those in your car and the moose is going to win every time. Wild beavers just look like giant hamsters with flattened tails. They just swim around and gnaw on wood. It's not very exciting. You have much more interesting wildlife in your own country. Little tiny koala bears that get high on eucalyptus, kangaroos that keep their young in a pouch, duck billed platypus that lay eggs and give milk, goanas, lots of venomous snakes, crocodiles, and Steve Irwin.

I think the most interesting animals we have are Mountain Lions, Wolves and Bears.

I mean, all animals are interesting, it's just that those are some of the best ones.

Australia has a much longer list of interesting animals.

We must live in different Canadas and have different moose.

Breeding them in 2014 mate... had a crack at it this season but nada... oh well.

here's a recent pic of the girl

http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn214/Red-Ink-Buldogs/Female%20JCP/JCP16_zps1044e4c2.jpg (http://s305.photobucket.com/user/Red-Ink-Buldogs/media/Female%20JCP/JCP16_zps1044e4c2.jpg.html)

I'm hoping for some reduced patterns from the both of them... the breeder of the female recently contacted me asking to buy her back for nearly double the price. I said no but told him he gets first crack at the hatchies... may even just do swapsies with him for some Julattens.

Depends on the snake mate... mine are calm but I have mates whose adults are devil incarnates... evil, evil bastards who relish in the taste of human blood.

Cheers mate, I got my fingers crossed for the two and hope I get some reduced patterns from them. The deal is set as well with her original breeder and if all goes to plan I'll have some black and white jungles for the collection as well.

That should be it then for my Morelias then when I get those....
