Costa Rican boa. About four months old.
Looks like dry skin on the nose on top of head. Uhm swelling around eyes a little bit. He did have snake mites a couple of months ago. I treated him as per reccomendations on this board.
I was out of town for like a week and a half. The ****** watching the house forgot to turn the snakes light on and off. Switch daylight bulb with night time bulb.. I got home, snake was in his water dish and was ice cold. He keeps yawning. I'll try and take a pic.

possibly a respitory infection from no heat, the skin on the nose could be dried mucus? you have pics? any clicking noise when he breaths, or crackingnoise/

I'm thinking resp. infection also....Uhmm I'm having a hard time loading a pic from my phone. I'm really not sure how to do it. It looks like dried skin/scales. No clicking noise that I'm aware of...What's cracking nose?

cracking noise. like when he breaths it will be crackling, or a pop sound. i forget how to upload with phone, i think use photobucket mobile, or something, even PM a mod, they can do it with a picture you send them

Looks like he had a bad shed. And it looks like his eye lids did not come off.

He's had nothing but full sheds since I got him though.

Have you found eye caps every time he's shed?

Give him a warm bath tonight and then let him crawl through a bath towel. If its a bad shed that will clear it up and possibly fix or cross off a possibility

Ok he just had a full shed. What ever was on his nose is gone now. I forgot to mention last night he was getting ready to shed.
