Hey guys, im brand new to this forum and might as well start off with a serious question that's bugging me right now. Two days ago I got my third ball python and the only tank I have for him is an adult sized terrarium. The tank is 4' x 1' . Now I understand that he needs a couple weeks and wont be roaming around much until he adapts but is having him in an adult sized tank necessarily a bad thing? I mean, I taped up pieces of printer paper around the bottom border of the tank so that he cant see out of it, I have a good amount of "shrubbery" haha and so on inside with his 2 small hides. I've heard people saying that they do well in small tanks but I mean come on... in the wild they are outside in the OPEN right? Not sure, just wondering if hes going to be stressed out or if the paper is alright for now.

I put all my snakes in adult vivs from hatchlings, i supply much more cover than imwould for an adult snake but havent had any issues. My BP went into a 4x2x2 foot enclosure.

Yeah, I think I jumped the gun on worrying, this morning I checked on him and he knocked over a plant so he was out and about, he also wasnt as far back in his hide this time so it seems to me he is getting comfy in his new surroundings
