Hello reptile lovers, First post, need some help.

Some friends and I were road cruising in Wickenburg, Arizona about 1 month ago and found many reptiles, the final Snake was about 48-54 inches long.
We've determined it is either a Mojave or Western Diamondback.
I believe it to be a Mojave due to the Tail ring pattern but would love to be sure for future identification.
Here are the pictures

just from appearance, I'd say Mojave. The pattern appears more "rhomboid" rather than a stark diamond shape. That said, there are others on here that would prob be able to give a more accurate ID...cool pic in any case. Be careful!!!

Confirmed it is a Western Diamondback(Crotalus atrox)!

The line behind the eye does not extend past the jawline, and the first scale of the rattle is fully dark black with no hints of yellow.

We're very excited to get out there tomorrow for our last chance before winter.

Here are some more pics of our very successful cruise last month.
