My corn is still small right now but I have been thinking about the enclosure I will give it when it is fully grown.

Would y'all say a 4x2x1ft high is too low?(I know breeders keep their corns in tubs and many owners keep their corns in 1 ft high enclosures, but would the corn benefit from extra climbing space?)

my 2 corns are about 3 feet long right now, and they are in their adult enclosures of 36x18x18... i have some branches etc so they COULD climb if they wanted, but i rarely see them doing so. they mostly move around on the ground in my enclosures.

I have three corns, one is in an 12" high viv, one has a 18" high and one has a 24" high (miscommunication with the viv builder ;) )

The one in the 12" barely climbs but is also very sedentary. The one in the 18" climbs a lot and is fairly active. The one in the 24" is extremely active but barely climbs any of his branches.

Benefit how? If you mean utilize it, as Rob said, depends on the individual but probably will utilize it to some degree. But I don't see any actual benefits of providing additional height, they will do fine in something very low their entire life..

Mine is in a 40 gal. (breeder I think). I have sticks going at horizontal angles up off the ground. She is 8 and mostly sedentary. We take her out once per day and she crawls on us and when really active, up and down a chair or on the ground outside. She used to be obese with fat rolls, so she need exercise, but not having the high enclosure hasn't made a difference. She has 2 favorite spots where she's mostly curled up. She's an easy keeper, that's for sure.

Mine are in 15" high vivs and they all have logs to climb on and some use them more than others but never for very long really, more of just passing over the log and a quick peer around whilst they are up there

I agree 100%

I use a 4'x18"x18" but most of it filled with soil so I guess he has about 5"-8" of height?
