Congrats, lil ones are often feisty when arriving at a new home, Most of the time the settle in just fine, yea its crazy how fast the snake settled in. I will emit that at first ,after it had a go at me i was a little ...... i was being a softy lol. I gave myself a little pep talk and said come on johnny you where the kid that used to ride around the neighborhood with a ball python wrapped around your neck lol. So i scope my hand underneath it and it started moving all around seems to me the snake is really smart and can see well and can move. I am happy with my decision to get this snake.
I think my snake has mites witch blows

Congrats on the new arrival, Redog! He looks great! He should calm down fast with gentle, regular handling (starting *after* he has time to settle in and eat once or twice).

Let's hope not. It could be wood mites that arrived in the substrate. Either way, get a can of Provent-a-Mite just in case, and if it is mites, make sure to treat any nearby reptiles as well.

Good appetite I see! How often are you feeding your new friend?
A small mouse once a week.

Once a week is perfect. Be careful with the size, though: unless I'm misreading the thread, he is young enough that a mouse hopper might be safer.
Chilling with my brb cool snake very strong eatter very easy to handle seems confident.really like this snake
