Hey guys so I'm getting a bigger tank for my coastal. I feel like this one is too small for her. She's 6 1/2 feet (give or take a couple inches) and she's in a 36x18x18 tank. So my dad has a friend at work that just wants to get rid of this tank which is 3'x6'x2' (i think that's the right order. 6 feet tall, 3 feet long) so it's a big change. (We get it FOR FREE. So glad I got this snake;P) It has two levels for her so the top will be a cooler climate, the bottom warmer. I just wanna know your opinions on a new setup and things to buy for the new tank!

Can you lay the tank on it's side? I think the extra width would benefit the snake more.

That could be a possibility. She's always trying to climb things and get up as high as she can (one time she got stuck up on my ceiling fan._.) but I probably could! just gotta find 6 feet worth of floor space in my room ;P

I forgot you mentioned there were levels built into the cage. I don't know how that would work out sideways.

Other than that I guess maybe put some branches and plants?

How are you going to be heating this enclosure? Would it not be more logical/easy to have the top part as the warmer section?
