Rickii my 6 year old ball python . She was living under my fridge in my apartment when my German Shepard found her . Poor girl my apartment was empty for 3 months before I moved in she survived the fumigation they did to my apartment before I moved in , hungry , cold and just wanted a cage to sleep in with heat pore girl lived in my sons bathroom for 2 days til I could find a cage for her . I was s(cared to death of her until I opened up my sons bathroom door and she was hanging on the towel rack she reached our towards me I put out my arm( shaking) Rickii wrapped around my arm so sweet and looked up at me scared as I was and that moment We bonded ! Never had a animal so grateful to be rescued . I never had a snake in my life the poor thing was so strong I had no clue about humidity or how to feed her thought they are like lizards her 4 foot glass tank I filled with reptile sand a little bowl of water for about a month fed her once and took her to a reptile Dr. And he advised me what to do and wow I felt like a jerk poor thing but 3 years later she is doing great and now I have 13 snakes I have rescued off Craigslist all different breeds . Oh yeah and 6 rescue cats .
