What kind of snake is this?

This snake(i think it is this one and not several) that is hanging around my garden is getting big. I went looking to ID what kind it is JIC it can be dangerous and all.
Can someone tell me?

It's a copperhead, and they are venomous. Please don't kill them- simply give them a wide berth when they are active.

Yes it is a copperhead and they are venomous and potentially dangerous so you should be very cautious with it. I would reccommend you relocate it to somewhere where it will not come in contact with people. However I agree with Herpin' Man in that I ask that you don't kill it.

I thought so but of course the internet had many other names with similar pictures, so just wanted to make sure.



He\she hangs around in the back yard around the garden. I'll keep a watch to catch it and drop it somewhere else far far away.
